One of my highly anticipated Nigerian movies, can't wait to be amazed by Izu Ojukwu!
The movie is set around the 1976 Nigerian coup, and it features Ramsey Nouah, Chidi Mokeme, and Rita Dominic. Ramsey Nouah and Chidi Mokeme both play army officers in the movie.
A teaser of the highly anticipated movie, Lions of ’76 has been released. Lions of ’76 was shot on celluloid, and it was helmed by ward winning director, Izu Ojukwu.
Also featured in the movie are Ibinabo Fiberisima, Memry Savanhu, Adonijah Owiriwa, Daniel K Daniel, Nelly Ekwereogu, and Shuaibu Ebenehi Adams. Although a synopsis is yet to be released, it is known that it explores the experience of the young pregnant wife of a soldier accused of involvement in the 1976 military coup.
